    Exciting times for Swiss Chalet!  Due to growth opportunities, we are actively searching for a Manager, Operations Excellence to join the team.    The Manager of Operations Excellence will be responsible for the implementation and execution of all Operation based programs and tools to help shape and build Swiss Chalet’s Operations Transformation; a key lever to the Brands strategy to move from its perceived family dining style to casual dining. As the Manager OE, the candidate will be tasked with developing, testing and launching programs, strategies and communications to enable all field and Restaurants and field teams to execute to the highest level of standards to transform into a leading Operations Company.       The Manager OE, will ensure a consistent and best in class approach to Restaurant Operations’ execution and will work closely with CARA’s Centralized CADs to bring creative, efficient and cost effective solutions to the Field to drive Brand consistency and improve restaurant performance and profitability.  This Manager will be responsible for Field Audit sustainability, Brand communication, Swiss Brand Combo Unit synergies, POS Accuracy and structure, Brand planning including Field team engagement.     As the ideal candidate your duties will include (but are not limited to)   - Designs, implements and sustains tools and processes that drive the Brands culture of Ops Excellence - Implements and sustains Brand standard to drive consistency in restaurant execution - Lead the Brands OTM Rollout and sustainability tactics including:  - Store Audits;Follow up with Field Teams and assist in writing action plans for better results - Store Performance analysis and communication - Brand Ops performance analysis and communication - Own the Brands ROE & FranBlast strategy and sustainability tactics - Implement Op’s Improvement tactics; Service Speed, Guest Experience, Off Premise and POS Accuracy among others - Define and implement strategy to improve Call Centre and Brand synergies - Lead the Brands Aggregator Expansion - Lead testing and launch of brands innovation tactics; Delivery Tracking & Curbside Pick up Test , Curbside, Driver Tracking, Tablet ordering, “Quickie Service” - Lead the evaluation of the BackOffice System with the testing and launch of RMS (RBOS 2.0). Develop and lead the rollout for the Swiss Chalet Brand - Creates evaluation processes that measure the effectiveness of program launches vs desired outcomes - Acts as a liaison to the CARA Regulatory Affairs / Food Safety team to ensure brand practices are in compliance with standards - Work in partnership with secondary Brands to synergize Combo Unit operations; simply and ensure consistency - Builds collaborative and cross functional relationships across the organization and acts as a business partner with various leaders in the organization - Provides advice to the team leads on opportunities that contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the Brand.   - Acts as a role model for other leaders in the organization As the Ideal candidate you will offer:    - Experience in managing a high performance team. - Experience in Restaurant operations at Multi-Unit Level - Thorough knowledge of Swiss Chalet Operation - Thorough knowledge of planning principles - Impeccable communication skills are required - Experience working with Audit and Fields teams as asset - Experience in leadership and organization development and change - Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability in leading teams - Highly organized - Experience working with senior leaders in a dynamic environment - Results oriented - High level of drive and anticipation - Is curious and creative in the way they work - Ability to deal with conflict        - Ability to influence change  - inspirational leadership We offer a competitive salary, RSP contributions, Group Insurance, on site gym, a subsidized bisto at our head office, lots of opportunities for growth and development and a 20% discount at most of our branded restaurants – Cara is a great place to work!
