The primary role in Montana’s BBQ and Bar is that of the Montana’s General Manager a.k.a Montana’s Rock . They think like a business owner and set the tone of the restaurant by living our Values and fun-loving Culture every day. A Montana’s Rock Star leads the Restaurant team to profitability by delivering the Perfect Guest Experience, Operational Excellence, and positive Associate Engagement. There is only one Montana’s Rock Star in each restaurant – this carefully selected individual is the fuel that ignites the fire within the entire Cookhouse Team.

What you do every day:
Inspire your team to ignite Montana’s Genuine Hospitality to every Guest, every day
Develop and build relationships to create loyal Guests and grow your business
Take care of your internal / external Guests – ensuring every Guest has a memorable Montana’s experience
Develop partnerships in YOUR community with a strong focus on LSM initiatives 9
Coach and develop your Montana’s Rock Starship Team (CLT) to become better leaders through effective communication, including one on one coaching.

Be supportive and engage your teams in current Montana’s promotions
Oversee and mentor your Management team to deliver on all targets and goals

Enable your Cookhouse team to foster a Food Safety culture
Manage multiple priorities on a daily basis—from menu promotions to Associate training to Local Restaurant Marketing and more...you are the master at multi-tasking
Ensure Performance Appraisals are completed and communicated as required
Always act in a professional manner – everything you do is Leader Led
Always be solution minded - seek first to understand then be understood
As Guest concerns arise, respond and act upon them with urgency
Use our state of the art systems to manage your operations and drive profitability—become the systems expert!
Achieve the targets and goals set for your restaurant in the areas of Sales, EBITA, Steritech, SRS, TUAU, AE Scores, Food, Beverage and Labour Costs etc.
This career is challenging, extremely rewarding and an aspirational role for Cookhouse Associates. You are expected to be actively leading your team during peak revenue periods. Our Montana’s Rock Starship team is made up of team players who are ready to step in and lend a hand at a moment’s notice.
