We promise you’ll have a lot of fun along the way!   As an Assistant General Manager your primary focus will be to support the General Manager in managing store operations to ensure profitability and superior guest experiences.   Responsibilities: - Recommend action plans towards the achievement of restaurant budget - Ensure completion of accurate and timely periodic financial statements for restaurant in conjunction with the corporate accountant - Oversee the ongoing development of the Management team (including ongoing feedback/coaching, and Performance Reviews) - Encourage and perpetuate Bier Markt’s culture through effective leadership - Oversee the application/execution of front line training programs - Oversee the strict application of Bier Markt’s principles and standards to improve guest experience - Oversee the execution of national marketing initiatives - Ensure restaurant adheres to all legislative and government guidelines (i.e. proper and safe food and beverage service, AGCO, Occupational Health & Safety Act, WHMIS, Human Rights Code, Employment Standards, etc.) Job Requirements: - Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Manager in an upscale dining environment with similar sales volume - Post-secondary education, preferably in hospitality and/or business related field - Strong business acumen, including an understanding of budgets and operating costs - Extensive knowledge of restaurant operations, food and beverage - Excellent understanding of the upscale dining industry - Demonstrated ability to motivate and direct others   Interested?
