Variety isn’t the only thing we offer – along with competitive compensation, we operate in a fast paced and energetic environment where effective team work and self-motivation to work independently are harmonious traits.   We are looking for a new Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team in our Vaughan Home Office.   What does our team do?: Process invoices accurately and timely using JD Edwards System. Manage and upload invoices to JDE Edwards System. Setup new A/P vendor and maintain A/P vendor database. Be a key resource for external and internal A/P issues and concerns.   What will you be doing in this job?: - Process all invoices in a timely and accurate manner using JD Edwards system - Process vouchers upon request, review G/L codes and pay invoices accurately - Respond to inquiries from associates and external customers to promptly resolve problems and discrepancies related to accounts payable, vendors and invoices - Verify accuracy of upload files before process to JD Edwards system - Reconcile various vendor accounts/invoices before process payments - Setup new A/P vendor account and maintain A/P vendor database in JDE Edwards system - Excellent data entry with high degree of accuracy - Document, address and follow through with all A/P discrepancies. - Various administrative dutiesand general ledger reconciliations What are we looking for from you?: - 2 + years of finance/accounting experience - Experience and knowledge with JD Edwards software - Strong Microsoft Excel skills (i.e. lookups, pivot tables) - Self-driven and results orientated - Ability to multi task coupled with strong organization and priority setting skills - Ability to handle a high volume of work and meet deadlines - Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to interact with internal/external stakeholders - Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills - Excellent data entry skills - College and/or University education What we offer you: - A welcoming, fun and safe work environment - A workplace founded on respect - Opportunities to be a valuable member of a close-knit team - A strong and effective training program - A supporting and encouraging Leadership team - Potential for personal development - Career opportunities within a leading Canadian Company Recipe/Cara offersa great open office work environment, with a competitive salary, group benefits, subsidized bistro, on site gym facilities and a 20% discount to most of our restaurants.   As part of our accessibility commitment, We are committed to providing an accessible environment for all of our customers, employees, and job applicants, and will make available to any selected applicants accommodations and/or accessible formats should he/she require.   We thank all candidates for their interest in opportunities with us however, only the candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
