    The evolution of GLOW began with Pickle Barrel`s vision to create a unique restaurant that would offer diners healthier food options and Rose Reisman’s philosophy of a healthy, balanced lifestyle that includes eating well and reconnecting with friends and family over a relaxed meal. Together, the two collaborated to design Glow’s menu. Translating the richness of the earth and expressing the idea of a person’s “healthy glow” became the starting points for the name and were distilled into GLOW.     GLOW Fresh Grill & Wine Bar is looking for a Service Manager to join our team. We are looking for an individual that is passionate about Food, Hospitality, and Guest focused as well as being a strong and motivating team player.    Responsibilities: - Proven success with both people development in leadership positions and long-term sales growth; - Train and supervise staff; - Ensure all food safety procedures are strictly adhered to according to regulations; - Work closely with management to meet revenue objectives; - Maintain a safe working conditions; - Audit inventory levels to ensure product availability, and order products as necessary; - Leadership and communication: has a leadership style that is developmental vs. policing, promotes a culture of dialogue, role models values and practices of the company; - Other duties as assigned.   Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years hospitality industry experience in a leadership role; - Degree or Diploma in Hospitality or Business Management and/or proven personal commitment to professional development an asset; - Proven success with both people development in leadership positions and long-term sales growth; - Proven ability to achieve results through others; - Demonstrate ability to attract and retain excellent performers and to develop high performing teams; - Proven entrepreneurial spirit through having presence "on the floor" and in the community ; - Team player.   If you are interested in working at this location, please apply today.   As part of our accessibility commitment, there are alternative ways to interview with us.
